MASTER CLASSES in AUGUST 
August 3 - 28th, 2020

The International Ballet Academy Master Classes are designed to provide expert training through unique instruction under our Academy's world-renowned faculty.

 

Our rigorous ballet training program offers pre-professional ballet and dance training through class instruction, via conferences at the end of the session with the Artistic Director and Assistant Artistic Director, and through private instruction with IBA faculty. Classes are specifically designed to focus on precision of technique, increasing strength, and greater musicality and artistry. This program is essential for dancers preparing for a professional career. 

 

Master Classes will be held online and at our new studio location:

1525 132nd Ave. NE

Bellevue, WA 98005

 

August Classes

  • Classical Ballet

  • Pointe

  • Jazz

  • Modern

  • Stretching/Floor Barr

  • Private lessons are available and can be scheduled through the Front Office. Class fees for private sessions will be available at the office upon reservation. Time for private classes is stated in the schedule.

  • Open Classes and Children's Program Classes are also available during this time.

No audition is required.

Cost Per In-Studio Class: $25

Cost per Online Class: $15

SUMMER DANCE in JULY 
July 6 - 31st, 2020 Ages 3 to Adult

The July Summer Dance Program is a wonderful series of dance classes based on the full IBA curriculum. All Open Classes will be available to anyone who would like to attend and will be held entirely online in order to protect the safety and health of our dancers and teachers.

  • Open Int./Adv. Ballet (Ages 15 to Adult)

  • Children - Disney Ballet (Ages 3-4)

  • Children - Disney Ballet (Ages 5-6)

  • Open Intermediate Ballet (Ages 12 to Adult)

  • Open Modern (Ages 10-13)

  • Open Stretch/Floor Barr (Ages 10 to Adult)

  • Open Ballet (Ages 7-9)

  • Open Ballet (Ages 10-13)

  • Advance Pointe Class (Ages 15 to Adult)

  • Open Jazz (Ages 7-9)

  • Open Jazz (Ages 10-13)

  • Open Jazz (Ages 14 to Adult)

  • Seminar (Open to all ages)

  • Open Beginning Ballet (Ages 14 to Adult)

  • Beginner Pointe Class (Age 12 and up)

  • Private lessons are available by appointment and can be scheduled through the Front Office.

Cost Per Online Class: $15

  • No registration required. 

  • All classes will be held via the Zoom platform and can be booked using the button below.

  • Booking closes 30 minutes prior to the class start time.

  • Students will receive a link for the online class via email.

  • Schedule and faculty are subject to change.

The New CALM - IBA Seminar (Beginning July 14th, 2020)

Join Sheila Delaney Duke, Creator of the New Tools of Influence and Leadership Coach for the better part of 20 years, as she shares with our community some tools for navigating these impossible times. 

 

July 21st Class - For Young Dancers

Students will learn about honoring their needs and caring for their wellbeing as they decide who they want to be and what they need for their future.

 

July 28th Class - Parents and Faculty

For adults, parents, and IBA faculty in our community. Sheila will discuss internal coherence and the tools of the new CALM.

 

We will talk about Internal Coherence and a new kind of CALM: 

  • Where are you vulnerable? 

  • What can you do about it? 

  • How do you navigate the days and the moments when you are bone-weary?

 

Sheila is a Coach, Speaker, and Mentor with a heart for illuminating the human experience. She has spent 17 years supporting gorgeous souls who are coming face to face with themselves in a whole new way as a Coach, Speaker, Leader of women's programs, and within organizations.
